Their mutant powers mysteriously shut down, along with their aircraft, the X-Men, (Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue and their leader, Storm) survive a crash landing in the unknown wilds of Africa.

Almost immediately they are captured by an unknown group of armed men. Bound, gagged and assaulted, the four women are led away from the wreckage. They are taken to a hidden camp where their nightmare truly begins.

Am I correct in noting that this story looks to be inspired by "X Women" one shot comic by Milo Mannera

It was the inspiration for Ordeal. When I originally wanted a scene where Dazzler, my favorite, and her friends were captured by a group I sent him a picture from X-Women as an example. Well Dan LOVED X-Women and wanted to do more than just a bondage scene. (I, myself, never read the book.) So one thing led to another and BAM! Here we are.

I started the story with the girls suddenly losing their powers and crash landing in a very remote area. They are captured by mercenaries and taken to their camp. To conceal the fact they are actually X-Men one of them, Dazzler, convinces the mercenaries they are professional wrestlers. (Which explains their costumes in their luggage.)

Once I set everything up Dan would make a picture and I'd write the back story for it. For him it's a labor of love and for me a chance to be creative.

Your arrangement with Dan has given us some first class material.
The X-Women is very good ,though(apparently) out of print. I understand that is being reprinted in a graphic novel of the same name which includes other stories featuring female X-Men (X-Women)and is being solicited in the current Previews
I am working my way through your stories posted at this site .Do you have anything else posted elsewhere on the net?
