Earth's Finest

Last picture, as you recall, I mentioned my fondness for Peter David's version of Supergirl. Fondness? Nay! T'was LOVE. Her book was the ONLY comic I truely looked forward to reading each month from beginning to very depressing end. I really wanted to see Linda in other titles too.

And I thought a mini-series or ongoing, featuring a "Next Generation" of the classic World's Finest team, would be a natural. Nightwing and Supergirl. I figured they would capture the true spirit of that old title better than the then-versions of Batman and Superman. Here is a scene I thought up for the beginning of a partnership that sadly never happened.
